Council Funding for Club Renovations

Salisbury Council have recently approved a raft of club facility improvements which have either been completed or are in progress. Big shout out to Geoff Amber, Eric Datson and Geoff Nethercott for their tireless work in this space.

For all in progress jobs, please be patient if you are affected in any way (bar sales/changeroom access etc). The club has been very careful in allocating time for these activities, but due to a small window for contractors availability, these jobs have been scheduled for now (during season). Not ideal, however the alternative may have been in the next season window.

Examples are:

Completed:

• New Seating around D Green
• Concrete path between D and B/C green
• Concrete path around the north/east side of the club to the car park
• Club house roof upgrade, including Asbestos removal

In progress:

• Bar upgrade, with a new 3 Fridge set up replacing the old 2 fridges, as well as a new cool room which allows rear feeding of drinks into the fridge
• Ladies changeroom upgrade of flooring
