Junior Jets

Members are getting older (and wiser, and more skilled), but the future of our club is the youth of today and tomorrow.

The club is pleased to announce an exciting program called the Junior Jets. Our program is aimed at bringing the local community youth into our great game of Lawn Bowls, under the tutelage of our best and finest. You don’t need skill – you just need to bring a great attitude, willingness to learn and able to be a good teammate.

The program will be chaired by Ray and Tina Newell.

UPDATE:

Salisbury BC is pleased to be in the second season of our Junior Jets program. We have had tremendous community support with the amount of kids attending the sessions. It is not too late to enrol your child/children in the program. We have seen massive improvement in all the kids and look forward to them continuing their bowling journey!

Each participant is bringing their own flavour to the sessions, which has seen the coaches cover basic skills, minor game play scenarios, etiquette requirements and rules/regulations. Salisbury BC can not wait to see how the program ends up!
